Following in the footsteps of Marine Tondelier, the leader of the ecologists, Jean-Luc Mélenchon is to be heard on Saturday by the commission on links between Islamist movements and political parties. Set up on the initiative of LR MP Laurent Wauquiez, the commission is accused by the left of having been tailor-made to harm LFI ahead of the 2026 municipal elections.
