Budget: Lecornu wants to change method to try to overcome blockages in Parliament

To avoid rejection of the budget at the end of the year, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu wants to bring the parties together on "absolute priorities" and then submit these discussions to thematic votes in Parliament. In an address at Matignon on Monday morning, the head of government said he was still convinced that there can be "a majority" in the National Assembly.
