11 November 2025 Other

On Tuesday, Emmanuel Macron presided over the ceremonies marking the 107th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice on the Champs-Elysées and at the Arc de Triomphe, also paying tribute to the Alsatians and Mosellans forcibly conscripted into the German army during the Second World War. The November 11th ceremonies mark the end of the First World War, but are dedicated to all soldiers who fell for France, whatever the conflict. Reported by Thierry Curtet (France 2).
